Aarhus University Seal

Have you improved your grades during your Bachelor's degree?

Any improved grades will not be accepted. This is because it is not possible in Denmark to improve grades for courses already passed at the bachelor's level. Therefore, if you have multiple grades for the same course, we will use the grade from the first time you passed the course in the GPA calculation.

Applicants with a qualifying exam from an institution where it is possible to improve grades must therefore upload a comprehensive transcript showing all exam attempts, the date of each attempt, and the corresponding exam results. If an applicant cannot provide a comprehensive exam record from their home university, a confirmation from the home university is required, stating that the applicant's transcript does not include improved exam grades.

Documentation requirements

You must upload a detailed transcript that includes all exams as well as the dates and results of each exam.

Applicants with a Norwegian qualifying degree can document this with the so-called "utdanningsplan," which is a transcript you can find in "Studentweb." Contact your educational institution if you are uncertain. Alternatively, we also accept a screenshot of the "Alle resultater" page in "Studentweb" which must be signed/stamped by your educational institution. However, all results and your name must be visible, so you need to take a screenshot showing the entire page.

Consequences if you do not upload the required documentation

If you do not upload this documentation, we will unfortunately not be able to assess your application in relation to the selection criteria ‘Grades from the qualifying degree' or Grades achieved in relevant subject fields,' if the latter is included as a selection criterion. These criteria are used to place applicants in the final ranking order, which determines who will be offered admission.

To ensure that your application is assessed correctly and gives you the best chances for admission, it is therefore crucial that you upload a detailed transcript with all the necessary information.
