Once you have submitted your online application the waiting game starts as you wait for a reply to your application.

Your next steps depends on the type of offer you receive (conditional or unconditional) and also on where you are from. If you are a Non-EU student, you will have one or two extra steps to go through.

Once your application has been assessed, you will receive a reply to your application. Learn more about what type of reply you can expect and when to expect it.
Learn about how you accept an admission offer from Aarhus University, and which deadlines you must meet.
If you have been selected for a Danish state scholarship you will be notified around the same time that you receive your offer of admission.
If you have received a conditional offer, make sure that you submit your documentation (e.g. Bachelor's diploma or English test results) by the relevant deadline.
If you are a Non-EU student, you will have one or two extra steps to go through:
Once you have accepted your offer of admission you will receive instructions on how to pay your first semester's tutiion fees.
If you have been selected for a Scholarship, you will skip this step.
Once you have paid your tuition fees, you will reecive an application form for your Student Residence Permit.
If you have been selected for a Scholarship, you will receive the application form after you have accepted your offer of admission.
A month or two before you begin your studies, you will be offically and technically enrolled at Aarhus University. Once enrolled you will have access the various IT systems and services and be able to order your AU Student ID card and much more. You will notified automatically when this happens and receive carefull instructions on your next steps. In the mean time, you can check out the information available online.
If you have completed any Master's level courses before starting your studies at Aarhus University, you will need to apply for credit transfer.

If you need to upload documentation after you have submitted your application (e.g. test scores from your language test or your Bachelor's diploma), you can request to have your application re-opened.
If documentation is missing from your application, we will send you an email notification and direct you to 'Messages' in Application portal. In this message you can see which which documentation you will need to upload.
