FIDERH-AU LOAN-TUITION FEE AGREEMENT

FIDERH-AU LOAN-TUITION FEE AGREEMENT

Banco de Mexico acts as a Trustee for the Mexican Federal Government at the Trust named “Fund for Human Resource Development” (FIDERH) and Aarhus University (AU).

FIDERH and Aarhus University share an interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of education between Mexico and Denmark and wish to promote stronger ties between the two institutions.  To foster cooperation and enhance the links between the two institutions, FIDERH and AU provides financial assistance for talented Mexican students admitted to graduate degree programmes at AU through a joint graduate ‘Loan-Tuition Fee Support Program’.

The joint Graduate Loan-Tuition Fee Support Program operates as follows:

  1. Mexican students must seek admission to the relevant graduate degree programmes (Master’s and Doctor of Philosophy degrees) offered by AU following the normal application procedures and meeting all the academic and language requirements established by AU.
  2. Students who hold an unconditional offer of admission from AU may submit a Loan-Tuition Fee Support application to FIDERH, following the normal application procedures and meeting all the standard requirements established by FIDERH.
  3. Students who are offered a place for full-time graduate studies at AU and who are selected as beneficiaries of the Loan Program of FIDERH (Graduate Students) will be eligible or considered for the shared financial support under this agreement.
  4. AU will provide a 32 % reduction of tuition fees to all eligible students enrolled in the agreed graduate programmes for the duration of the course of study.
  5. FIDERH will provide appropriate funding to graduate students who have registered for a loan to be able to undertake the nominated course at AU.
  6. The graduate students themselves are responsible for obtaining financial resources to cover other costs that are not included in this Loan-Tuition Fee Support Program Agreement related to their program of study at AU.
